Ready for an adorable nail tutorial? For this nail design, you'll need:
Plastic Straw
Q-Tips
Hand Lotion
Nail Polish Remover
Clear Nail Polish
2 Nail Polish Colors of your Choice
Tape
Step 1: With nail polish remover, take off the current polish you have on your nails. With a Q-tip, gently apply a dab of hand lotion around each of your cuticles. This prevents any extra polish from sticking to your skin. After this, place strips of tape around your finger to protect against a mess.
Step 2: Begin applying 2 layers of white nail polish. This will be the base color for your design. Over a thick paper towel, pour your two colors (I chose pink and silver) into small puddles. Beginning with your first color, dip your straw in it and through the other end, blow so the paint splatters on your nails. Do this to each nail and wait a few minutes for them to dry.
Step 3: Do the same to your nails with your second color choice. When you're finished, let them dry for a few minutes. After your nails are dry, you can peel off the tape. Trust me, it will feel relieving!
Step 4: With a Q-tip, remove any excess nail polish from your skin. Now apply 2 coats of clear nail polish. You can also add some more hand lotion around your cuticles. VOILA! Your splattered nails are finished and fabulous!
